几何直观和空间想象能力(空间观念)是数学新课程标准提出的十个核心概念中的两个,对于学生来说,几何直观和空间观念是一种必须掌握的能力,是学生打开思维大门,开启智慧的钥匙,能够帮助学生克服数学学习的障碍,突破数学理解上的难点,对学生的数学学习具有非常重要的作用。一、几何直观国家基础教育实验中心副主任孔凡哲曾结合《义务教育数学课程标准(2011年版)》中几何直观的解释,给出了一个更深刻的定义:
