We deeply understand in teaching that in the teaching activities, students are the main body. It is the education focus to cultivate students’ autonomous learning ability. This article, combined with my own teaching practice in recent years, explores how to cultivate students’ autonomous learning ability in English class. It has been three years since the school advocated “students ” teaching. In these three years, I am constantly struggling and wandering in the traditional teaching teaching and feeling uncomfortable teaching which I am very familiar with. Review stumbling along the way, full of exclusion, there are many misunderstandings of the teaching of students. The so-called cost-based teaching is the setting of all teaching activities should be student-centered, and now I
