1991月10月25～26日,在锦州薛家配件厂由铁道部专业设计院主持召开了道岔标准设计专业会议,参加会议的单位有铁道部科技司、工务局、建设司标情所,中国铁路工程总公司,铁科院,第一、二、三、四勘测设计院,通号公司,北京、沈阳、呼和浩特、成都铁路局,山海关、宝鸡桥梁厂,薛家配件厂共32名代表,部工务局游副局长到会做了重要讲话。会议听取了专业设计院的《道岔专业技术发展方向》、《关于道岔通用件的标准问题》和《关于加速推广AT轨新型道岔的意见》3个报告,对道岔40年来发展的7个阶段、道岔平面简统化、零部件通用化和加速AT轨新型道岔推广等问题,进行了充分的讨论。
