单看辛里奇并不像一名NBA球员。如果用西服领带换以长衫短裤,那么眼前的白人青年绝对是帅哥一枚,并且为腼腆害羞类型。如此,不难理解为什么同为2003届新秀,同为各自球队的领军级人物,辛里奇总是较勒布朗·詹姆斯、安东尼,甚至韦德差那么股劲。他似乎永远不会成为媒体笔下风口浪尖式的人物,除了报道比赛,辛里奇极不常被人提及。公牛队的三年间,他没有转会的消息,没有争夺球队老大的消息,没有与主教练不和的消息,没有与队友不和的消息,甚至连伤病几乎都没有。他用在堪萨斯大学学到的篮球技巧努力实现自己年轻时的梦想——成为一位公牛队球员。
