Irrational use of pesticides can lead to excessive pesticide residues in vegetables. This paper analyzes the reasons that may lead to excessive pesticide residues in vegetables in Beijing and puts forward six solutions to popularize the scientific knowledge of pesticide use by farmers, set up quality inspection agencies for specialized agricultural products and improve the quality of inspectors.
