In May 1981, Hunan Nonferrous Metals Industry Corporation held a forum for key non-ferrous mines in the Taolin Lead-zinc Mine to study how to reduce power (wind, water and electricity) of mining operations, major raw materials (explosives, detonators, Fuse, brazing, alloy sheet, wood) consumption and mining unit cost measures. A total of more than 50 people from the 15 key non-ferrous mines (mining bureau) in the province, including deputy chief miners, mining engineering technicians and cost accounting (accountants), attended the meeting.
