口服五菟颗粒能使大鼠脑组织中的三磷酸腺苷(ATP),二磷酸腺苷(ADP)及尼克酰胺腺嘌呤二核苷酸(NAD+)含量升高,一磷酸腺苷(AMP)含量降低,预防性给药能使大鼠脑缺血时海马细胞外液中兴奋性氨基酸(EAA)———谷氨酸(Glu)和天门冬氨酸(ASP)含量降低;能使小鼠单居激怒分明显减少;并能改善小鼠记忆。
