19th century romantic poet Emily Dickenson is one of the most original poets in the history of American literature. She has more than 1,800 poems throughout her life, but only a dozen have been published in her lifetime. Dickinson ’s poems have profound themes, unique forms and extraordinary creative skills. They are not influenced by the current social trend of thought and reflect their keen thinking, profound thoughts and profound insights into life, love and hope. Her poetry has had a significant influence on many later Western modernist poets, and is an important source of modern Western poetry. Many scholars in China have analyzed her poems from the angle of literary creation, artistic techniques and the modernist temperament of her poetry. However, her analysis of stylistics is rare. Therefore, from three aspects of phonology, variation and rhetoric, the author attempts to conduct a stsical analysis of Dickinson’s lyric poem “Hope is a Small Bird” to explore the stylistic features and stylistic effects produced by each feature, Explore the creative features of his poetry.
