各州、市、县人民政府,各地区行政公署,省直各厅、局、委、办: 省民族事务委员会《关于正确使用民族称谓问题的意见》已经省人民政府同意,理转发给你们,请遵照执行。我省是一个多民族边疆省份,正确使用民族称谓是贯彻执行党的民族政策,尊重各民族平等权利,维护和增强各民族团结稳定的一项重要工作,各地、各部门要严格按照经国务院批准确认的族称,正确使用民族称谓,坚决杜绝和纠正以自称或他称作为民族族称的现象。特别是第三届中国艺术节即将在我省召开,各地各部门要加强对干部职工的教育,防止因不能正确使用民族称谓而造成不良的影响。各地在贯彻执行中有何问题,请及时向省民族事务委员会反映。
