同盟会成立之前,国内革命思想的传播渐臻成熟,资产阶级和小资产阶级知识分子积极开展了革命组织活动。一九○四年接连出现了几个地方性革命团体:湖南的华兴会,浙江的光复会和武汉的科学补习所等。这些革命组织都出现在革命活动比较活跃、条件比较好的地区。当时的安徽地区,以安庆和芜湖为中心,革命活动也很活跃,也出现过同样的革命组织,这就是岳王会。它的活动是辛亥革命不可分割的一部分,而且涉及陈独秀早年的革命活动。解放后,史学界有人注意到这个组织,但对其具体情形未能了解。
Before the founding of the League, the dissemination of revolutionary ideas in the country became more and more mature. The bourgeoisie and petty-bourgeois intellectuals actively carried out revolutionary organizational activities. Several local revolutionary groups emerged in 1904: the Huaxing Conference in Hunan Province, the Guangfuhui in Zhejiang Province, and the Science Tutoring Institute in Wuhan. These revolutionary organizations have appeared in areas where the revolutionary activities are relatively active and conditions are relatively good. At that time in Anhui area, with Anqing and Wuhu as the center, revolutionary activities are also very active, there have been the same revolutionary organization, this is the Yue Wang Hui. Its activities are an integral part of the 1911 Revolution and involve Chen Duxiu’s early revolutionary activities. After liberation, some historians have noticed this organization, but failed to understand its specific situation.
