This article outlines the role of optoelectronic countermeasures, the main technical means of achieving optoelectronic countermeasures, and some of the optoelectronic countermeasures currently used in foreign countries. The anti-interference measures used by several tactical weapon systems are introduced and the future development directions are predicted.
