我国有数以十万计的业余剧团,他们联系着千千万万的观众。不断地供给业余剧团上演好的剧本,这是剧作家也是某些刊物极其光荣和重大的任务。近几年来,「剧本」月刊登载了不少优秀的剧本,尤其是数量较多的独幕话剧、小型戏曲和歌剧,受到了广大业余剧团和观众的热烈欢迎。今年,「剧本」月刊根据中国文联主席团和中国作家协会主席团联席会议「关于」『文艺报』的决议」的精神,重新制订了刊物的方针任务。该刊为了更进一步的群众化和紧密配合当前的革命斗争,决定今后以大量篇幅刊登小型剧本(包括独幕话剧、戏曲与歌剧),并特别提倡小型剧本的多样化与战斗性。该刊这一新的变革与措施,无疑是会受到广大群众的支持和赞助的。从「剧本」最近几期发表的独幕剧及其他小型剧本的数量看来,是有所增加的。该刊今年一月号至五月号已经发表了二十七个小型剧本(大、中型戏曲、话剧未计算在内),其中,独幕话剧十六个,
There are hundreds of thousands of amateur theater companies in our country, and they connect tens of thousands of viewers.
