主持人语 “后现代”与“后殖民”是相继出现在西方知识界的两个概念。它们有某种联系,但切入角度显然不同,“后现代”理论主要是西方人对自己社会历史发展状况的一种认识或界定,而“后殖民”理论带有鲜明的“反西方文化优越论”的色彩,反映了“第三世界情结”。所谓的“后殖民”,更多的是指“文化殖民”。一般认为文化殖民是西方船坚炮利式的“武力殖民”之后的“第二性”殖民方案,但是亦有认为文化渗入在先、或者至少是二者同步者,譬如传教士的活动。如何认识当前中国美术发展在接受西方美术及文化影响过程中的“后殖民”现象,如何解决西方文化殖民带来的矛盾和问题,王岳川、邹跃进和孔新苗等学者各自做出了不同的思考,尹吉男则以其惯有的诙谐的笔调,尖刻地揭示出同一问题的另一个方面的真理,读来令人深思。 当前版画界在议论版画创作是否处在低谷时期,对此,本期将把版画作为一个讨论的重点题目。我们还专门访问了老一辈版画家彦涵先生,相信他的谈话将会给版画家和广大读者以有益的启示。
Host language “post-modern” and “post-colonial” are the two concepts that have emerged in Western intellectual circles one after another. There is some connection between them, but the point of entry is obviously different. The theory of “post-modernism” is mainly a kind of knowledge or definition of Westerners’ social and historical development. The theory of “post-colonialism” has a distinctive “anti-Western cultural superiority theory ”The color, reflects the“ third world complex. ” The so-called “post-colonial”, more refers to “cultural colonization.” Cultural colonization is generally considered as a “second-class” colonialist program after Western armed forces colonized the “armed forces.” However, cultural colonization is also believed to have preceded or at least been synchronized by both, such as the activities of missionaries. How to understand the current “postcolonial” phenomenon in the development of Chinese art in accepting the influence of Western art and culture? How to solve the contradictions and problems brought by the western cultural colonization? The scholars such as Wang Yuechuan, Zou Yuejin and Kong Xinmiao made their own differences , Yin Ji-man, with his usual humorous tone, splashes the truth of another aspect of the same problem and reads thoughtfully. The current print community is discussing whether the creation of printmaking is in the doldrums, this issue will print as a key topic of discussion. We also paid a special visit to the older generation of print artist Yan Han, I believe his talk will give printrs and readers a useful inspiration.
