今年5月20日,中央宣传部、司法部在人民大会堂召开第七次全国法制宣传教育工作会议。司法部吴爱英部长代表全国普法办,认真总结了“五五”普法工作,就贯彻落实周永康同志重要讲话精神,加强法制宣传教育工作,推进“六五”普法规划全面实施作了讲话。开展法制宣传教育是基层司法行政机关的法定职责和一项基础性工作,也是司法行政基层工作的重要内容。全国各基层司法行政机关和广大基层工作者要认真学习第七次全国法制宣传教育工作会议精神,认真学习贯彻吴部长重要讲话精神,围绕“十二五”时期经济社会发展目标任务,按照全面落实依法治国基本方略和建设社会主义政治文明的新要求,坚持法制宣传教育与社会主义核心价值体系教育相结合、与社会主义法治理念教育相结合、与社会主义公民意识教育相结合、与法治实践相结合,认真履行职责,充分发挥作用,深入开展法制宣传教育,深入推进依法治理,努力为广大群众学法用法和提高法律素质服务,为推进基层社会法治化管理水平服务。
