经济全球化是当今世界经济发展的历史必然;中国的发展离不开世界,加入世贸组织是我国经济融入世界经济和经济全球化浪潮的有效途径。入世给我国的发展带来了机遇也带来挑战,还给党执政能力建设提出了新的更高要求。应对入世的新要求,应该从提高党对社会发展趋势的前瞻能力、增强法治能力、加快以干部体制为核心的体制改革三个基本方面加强党的执政能力建设。
Economic globalization is an inevitable historical development in today’s world economy. China’s development can not be separated from the world. Joining the WTO is an effective way for China’s economic integration into the tide of world economy and economic globalization. The accession to the WTO has brought opportunities and challenges to the development of our country and also set new and higher requirements for the party’s ability to govern. To meet the new requirements for joining the WTO, we should strengthen the building of the party’s ability to govern from three basic aspects: improvement of the party’s ability to look forward to the trend of social development, strengthening the ability of the rule of law, and accelerating institutional reform with the cadre system as the core.
