有感于21世纪的脚步正日益急迫地向我们走来,笔者浏览了展望21世纪社会生活的两部书:一为中国人著,龚建华的《21世纪全景——世界百年大预测》;一为外国人著,迈克尔·G·泽伊的《擒获未来——21世纪的科技与人类生活》,从编写体例与阅读习惯上讲,可能龚建华的书更适合我们的写作风格与思维定势,但迈克尔的书更具挑战性与前赡性,仅用“擒获未来”就概括了作者的豪情与对未来生活的不懈追求和探求精神。当19世纪到来之际,生活在18世纪的人们所预测的事物大都变成了现实并将时间表一再提前,而生活在今天20世纪的人们在展望与预测再下一个世纪的时候,其思想更活跃,其思路更加开阔。
Feeling that the 21st century is getting more and more urgent to us, the author browses two books on social life in the 21st century: one is Chinese, Gong Jianhua’s “Panorama of the 21st Century - Prediction of the World Centennial”; As foreigners, Michael G. Zee’s “Capture the Future - Science and Technology and Human Life in the 21st Century” may be based on writing style and reading habits, and it may be that Gong Jianhua’s book is more suitable for our writing style and thinking Potential, but Michael’s book is more challenging and predestined, only “capture the future ” summarizes the author’s pride and future relentless pursuit of life and spirit of exploration. As the nineteenth century approached, most of the things foreseen by people living in the eighteenth century came to reality and brought timetables ahead of time again, whereas those living in the twentieth century today, looking forward to the next century of prediction, More active, more open-minded.
