铬及其化合物在工业上应用比较广泛,铁路系统机械修配、配件等厂段中的电镀工人,接触铬更为频繁。铬中毒是电镀工人常见的一种职业病。此类作业环境中氰化物、强酸、强碱等化学毒物,对人体也有一定的危害。为了解电镀作业工人职业性危害情况,笔者于1977年对成都铁路局管内电镀作业进行了卫生学调查,并同时对电务、通讯等电源室的充电作业作了类似的卫生学调查研究,以探讨铬、氰化物及酸雾等毒物综合作用的规律,为预防电镀作业职业性危害提供科学依据。一、对象 (一)对成都局管内电镀作业较集中的5个厂段作车间空气中铬、氰化物、硫酸、盐酸浓度测定,对42名电镀作业工人临床体检。
