苹果矮化栽培能促进大幅度增产,我省应用这项技术虽有数年,但未见成效。主要原因在于各地采用二次双重接育成的矮化苗质量不高。为此,我们曾与义乌县稠城公社保联大队协作,进行一次双重嫁接育苗的试验,并与二次双重接苗进行比较。现将试验结果整理于下:一、试验方法试验在沙壤土上进行。一次双重接是在2月下旬先把栽培品种的接穗与一定长度的中间砧接好,再把中间砧接在基砧上,三段嫁接一次完成。两个接口均采用切腹接或枝接。嫁接成活后除去基砧和中间砧上的一切萌蘖,让品种萌发成苗。二次双重接是在2月下旬,于接近地面处的基砧上用切腹接或劈接的方法接上中间砧,待中间砧萌发并长到一定的高度和粗度时,约在5月下旬开始在中间砧的一定高度上芽接栽培品种的接穗,成活以后剪去接芽以上的中间砧,促使接芽萌发成苗。
