素质教育是以全面提高公民的思想道德,科学文化、身体、心理和劳动技能素质,培养能力、发展个性为目的的基础教育。在全面推进素质教育的过程中,应大力加强校园体育文化建设,培养合格的社会主义建设者。大学校园体育文化作为一个开放系统,具有以下八大功能: 1 导向功能 校园体育文化体现了与国家、集体和校园人个体利益相一致的体育目标,它把校园人的一切体育行为引导到这一现实确实的体育目标上来。这主要通过三个方面体现出现:一是树立学校体育组织行为的价值取向;二是明确学校体育的总目标,用目标激励、引导;三是制定完善的学校体育各项规章制度,用制度约束、控制。三个方面彼此联系、配合、补充,共同发挥导向作用。
