含有大量蛇纹石的低品位镍矿石一直是难以处理的。Mt Keith选矿厂在投产前5年也不例外,选矿厂平均镍的回收率刚好60%。在本文中确定了影响选矿指标的几个因素,提出了可以大幅度提高镍回收率的方法。本文研究了矿粒粒度对硫化镍矿物浮选的影响和调节矿浆pH和矿浆固体密度对镍浮选回收率的影响。Mt Keith选矿厂应用新工艺后浮选镍回收率提高10%。每年多产6000t镍,净现值(NPV)增加3亿澳元。
Low grade nickel ore containing large amounts of serpentine has been difficult to handle. The Mt Keith beneficiation plant was no exception five years prior to commissioning, with average concentrator recovery rates just 60%. In this paper, several factors influencing beneficiation indicators are determined, and a method for greatly increasing nickel recovery rate is proposed. In this paper, the effect of ore particle size on the flotation of nickel sulfide minerals and the influence of slurry pH and pulp solids density on nickel flotation recovery were studied. Flotation recovery of nickel increased 10% after applying the new process at Mt Keith concentrator. 6000t more nickel per annum, an increase of 300 million net present value (NPV).
