2010年4月24日上午,来自海内外四面八方的清华汽车系系友、校系领导、企业代表、在校师生以及社会各界人士欢聚一堂,共庆母系成立30周年暨车辆工程人才培养78周年。期间,校党委书记胡和平,党委副书记邓卫,该校汽车专业成立之初的老教授程宏、余志生,李刚、唐仲文等以及杜建寰、钱振为等十几位历任汽车系系主任、系党委书记共同出席了庆祝大会。
