钟健华从小酷爱书法。学书法之初并无名师指点,及长则以古今书法大家为师,经常研读各种碑帖而博采众长。钟健华是属于那种悟性很高,善于汲取他人长处者。他的作品,法古而不泥古,创新而守法度。观其佳作,雄浑、刚健而又豪爽、奔放,颇饶北方书家的阳刚大度。但艺无止境,钟健华常感自己作品的功力不深。这种不断自我否定的精神,正是他的书法不断进步的思想源泉。深信在今后的年月里他必定会有更多佳作问世,这是我们可以期盼的。
