一九八三年,我省戏曲界敲响了“振兴秦腔”的锣鼓。我们戏曲研究院也响亮地提出了“振兴秦腔,振兴陕西省戏曲研究院”的口号,力争一年起步,两年出现新气象,三年见成效。并确立了以抓剧目,求发展;抓创新,出人才为振兴之本的指导方针。以推出重点剧目,树立舞台新人为突破口,展开了紧张而又艰苦的振兴工作。从一九八五年到一九八七年,我院秦腔、华剧、眉户三个剧团和演员训练班都应邀晋京演出,老、中、青三个年龄层次的演员都在首都舞台亮了相。戏剧界的朋友们鼓励我们是“出人出戏走正路,三年迈了三大步。”

The actors of the three age groups, Senior, Middle and Young, were all on stage in the capital Bright phase. Drama friends encouraged us to be “going out of the theater and taking three major steps in three years.”
