1988年,德安县办起了365所农民夜校,406个农民识字组,组织了7258人参加扫盲学习,有3793名达到了脱盲标准,2657名文盲进入了半文盲队伍。经省、市验收,无盲率由87年的84.12％上升到90.2％,达到了国务院和省人民政府规定的基本扫除文盲标准,实现了基本无盲县。这些成绩的取得,是各级党委、政府领导重视和全体教师共同努力的成果,其中也有扫盲专职干部胡坤同志的一份功劳。
In 1988, Dean County had 365 farmer evening schools, 406 farmer literacy groups, organized 7258 people to participate in literacy study, 3,793 people had reached the standard of literacy, and 2,657 illiterate people entered semi-illiteracy teams. After acceptance by the provincial and municipal governments, the non-blindness rate rose from 84.12% in 87 years to 90.2%, reaching the basic standards for eliminating illiteracy as stipulated by the State Council and the People’s Government of the People’s Republic of China and achieving basically no blind counties. The achievement of these achievements is the result of the concerted efforts of the party committees and government leaders at all levels and the efforts of all teachers. Among them is a contribution by Comrade Hu Kun, a full-time literary cadre.
