云南大朝山水电站位于临沧地区云县和思茅地区景东彝族自治县交界的澜沧江上,6台机组总装机容量135万千瓦,是省内迄今为止建成的最大水电站。电站于1997年8月4日正式开工建设,同年11月实现大江截流:2001年首台机组发电,2002年3台机组相继发电,2003年最后2台机组建成投产,电站总投资88.7亿元。
Yunnan Dachaoshan Hydropower Station is located on the Lancang River at the junction of Yunxian County and Jingdong Yi Autonomous County in Lincang area. The total installed capacity of 6 units is 1.35 million kilowatts, making it the largest hydropower station built in the province to date. The power station was officially started construction on August 4, 1997, and the river was cut off in November of the same year. In 2001, the first generating unit generated electricity. In 2003, three generating units successively generated electricity. In 2003, the last two units were put into operation. The total investment of the power station was 8.87 billion yuan.
