酿制甜蜜的糖厂如今咀嚼着自己的苦涩。1998年11月12日,哈尔滨市中级人民法院大审判厅内,法庭无情地宣布,我国甜菜制糖行业的“老大”——黑龙江省阿城糖厂破产程序终结。命运无情,一个曾上缴过2.5亿多元税金的国家大型二级企业此刻工商执照没有了,国有资产没有了,企业职工的饭碗没有了。话题沉重,4490人的生计,7亿多元呆死帐损失成了沉甸甸的负担。在两天的采访中,记者相继走访了部分职工和有关人士,从中不难发现这个百年老厂破产的背后隐含着的一些令人深思的话题——
Sweet sugar mills now chewed their bitterness. The destiny was unforgiving. A large state-owned secondary enterprise that had paid more than RMB 250 million in tax revenue at the moment had no business license, no state-owned assets, and no jobs for enterprise employees. The topic was heavy, the livelihood of 4,490 people, and the loss of more than 700 million yuan was a heavy burden.
