One of the largest slab caster in the world is the large slab caster No.1 of Zhongxing Steel Plant in the United States. This is the first time for our country to reform the technology of slab continuous casting equipment in foreign countries. This article describes the details of the renovation project and its effect. The transformation of similar equipment provided a useful experience.
