释放甾体激素阴道环是采用具有缓慢释放性能的硅橡胶与甾体激素制成的一种新型阴道避孕工具。可分为释放大量孕激素间断使用的阴道环;释放大量雌、孕激素间断使用的阴道环及释放小量孕激素连续使用的阴道环。其避孕机制包括:1.抑制下丘脑-垂体-卵巢轴功能;2.抑制精子移行、存活和卵子输送;3.抑制孕卵着床;4.干扰早孕维持。阴道环避孕效果可靠、安全副作用小,使用方便,主要缺点为不规则阴道出血。
