Inconsistency in the K_ (1c) and αk measurements of isothermal tissue at 180 ° C (or 190 ° C) and 300 ° C is explained by the different responses of the microstructure features to the notch root radius. The effect of effective grain toughness is greater than that of other tissue factors.
