Calcareous Nannofossils, a microfacie paleontology that has attracted widespread interest in the international palaeontology community for more than a decade, has progressed more rapidly than all other paleontological categories. The reason why calcareous nannofossils are so valued Because they are abundant in Meso-Cenozoic marine sediments, they are widely distributed and their morphological structures evolve rapidly. They have different evolvement rules in different periods, and are very rich in deep-sea sediments. Therefore, in the Meso-Cenozoic marine facies, Stratigraphic division and long-distance contrast, basin geological history and marine geological research, etc. The modern descendants of calcareous microfossils prove that they were the dominant planktonic life in the ancient oceans. Their distribution and evolution are also one of the important topics for studying the distribution and evolution of plankton in the ancient ocean.
