In clinical studies of antihypertensive drugs, changes in rhythm of the biological day are often used as an indicator of the effectiveness of the drug. 24-hour blood pressure measurements reflect the realities of the patient more than fragmented blood pressure measurements. For the numerical model for the determination of circadian rhythms, there are periodic regression models based on observation noise normal distribution and Box-Cox transformation based on normal power transformation.
