先讲一个我在列车上见到的关于读书的小故事。 有一年夏天,我从西安乘火车返京。旅途中,车厢里,看到一些旅客或卧或坐,手里拿着一本杂志或书籍在阅读。从封面上那些令人惊心的格斗场面或勾人销魂的美人头像,可以推知大多是些格调不高的通俗读物。这也难怪,在列车上看书,大多是为了消磨漫长的旅途时光,严肃的读物是不大看得进去的。
Tell me a little story about reading that I saw on the train. One summer, I returned to Beijing by train from Xi’an. On the road, in the carriage, I saw some travelers lying or sitting with a magazine or a book in their hands. From the cover of those amazing scenes of fighting or appeasing demeanor of the beautiful head, you can infer that most of the style is not high popular books. It is no wonder that reading books on the train mostly for the sake of spending a long journey, serious readings are not very impressive.
