从党的十六届六中全会提出建设社会主义核心价值体系的重大战略任务,到党的十八大将社会主义核心价值观凝练表达为“三个倡导”二十四个字,即倡导富强、民主、文明、和谐,倡导自由、平等、公正、法治,倡导爱国、敬业、诚信、友善,坚守社会主义核心价值体系和社会主义核心价值观已经成为当下中华民族的共同精神追求。正如2014年2月,习近平总书记在中央政治局第十三次集体学习时所指出的:“我们要从巩固全党全国各族人民团结奋斗的共同思想基础、巩固党的执政地位的战略高度,持续加强社会主义核心价值体系建设,把培育和弘扬社会主义核心价
From the 6th Plenary Session of the 16th CPC Central Committee, we have put forward the major strategic task of building a socialist core value system. At the 18th CPC National Congress, the socialist core values were formulated as ”three advocates,“ that is, Prosperity, democracy, civilization, harmony, advocacy of freedom, equality, justice, rule of law, advocacy of patriotism, dedication, integrity, friendship and adherence to the socialist core value system and the socialist core values have become the common spiritual pursuit of the present Chinese nation. As February 2014, General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out during the thirteenth collective study of the Central Political Bureau: ”We should consolidate the party’s ruling strategy by consolidating the common ideological foundation for the unity and struggle of all ethnic groups across the country. At a high level, we will continue to step up the building of the socialist core value system, nurture and promote the core values of socialism
