语言是文化的一部分,要真正掌握一门语言,就必须了解其国家的文化,从而避免产生“文化误读”。本文从英汉语义差异、思维差异、历史渊源和审美差异等几个角度揭示了文化误读产生的根源,以促进英语教学的发展和文化正迁移。
Language is a part of culture. To really master a language, we must understand the culture of our country so as to avoid “misreading of culture.” This paper reveals the root causes of cultural misreading from the angles of semantic differences, thinking differences, historical origins and aesthetic differences between English and Chinese so as to promote the development of English teaching and the positive transfer of culture.
