品质因子Q值的大小用于描述地震波的衰减程度.Lg波Q值反映了地壳介质的非弹性衰减特征.Lg波的Q值与地壳的速度异常、断层/裂隙和孔隙水、热状态、构造活动历史等有一定的相关性.研究Lg波Q值的横向分布特征是考察地壳横向不均匀性的一种颇为有效的途径.本文简述了Q值的定义、地震波衰减的机制,Lg波震相的特性及其应用,重点阐述了单台法,双台法以及反双台法/反双事件法等Lg波Q值测定方法、适用条件及范围,分析了这些方法的优缺点,总结了中国大陆及其邻区的Lg波Q值成像的研究成果.
