Soil electrochemistry is a science dealing with the interactions among charged particles(clay,ions,protons,electrons)and their chemical consequences in soils.It is a newly developed branch within the discipline of soil science.In order to investigate into the electrochemi-cal phenomena of soils,it is required to have appropriate means.The appearance of variouselectrochemical sensors provided a very favorable condition for this purpose.
