魏连科先生编的《汉书人名索引》(中华书局1979年版)给《汉书》和西汉史的研究带来很多方便,但也有些疏失,张如元先生有《〈汉书人名索引〉疏误考辨》(载《中华文史论丛》1985年第1辑)、《〈汉书人名索引〉错误举例》(载《西南师范学院学报》1984年第3期,二文有重叠之处),马斗全先生有《〈汉书人名索引〉订误十四则)(载《文献》1992年第1期),订正了《索引》的许多疏失。我在使用《索引》时,也发现一些问题;读马先生的文章时,又发现有两则恐怕是马先生之误,在此分别提出来讨论。
The index of Han names (Zhonghua Book Company, 1979 edition) compiled by Mr. Wei Lianke brought many conveniences to the study of Han Dynasty and the history of the Western Han Dynasty, but there were also some omissions. Mr. Zhang Ruyuan misunderstood the “Index of Han Names” (Containing “Chinese Literature and History Symposium” 1985 the first series), “” 14“) (contained ”document“ in 1992 the first period), revised ”Index" many negligence.
