中国古代选拔人才主要有三种方式:论功、推荐与考试。论功封官有一定合理性,实践证明有能力,功劳以官爵作为回报;考试是公平合理的,因而隋唐以降被广泛采用;推荐在特殊情况下是必要的,是论功与考试的补充。在中国历史上,推荐是政治的需要,也是高官的任务,并且有连带责任制约着。推荐者应该有政治眼光和辨才的能力,应该出以公心,为事业推荐人才。对历史上的推荐进行研究,可以为当前提供借鉴。
There are three main ways of selecting talents in ancient China: dedication, recommendation and examination. On the official seal has a certain rationality, proved to have the ability to practice, credit to the official in return; examination is fair and reasonable, so the Sui and Tang dynasties to be widely adopted; recommended in exceptional circumstances is necessary, is the argument on the merits and exam supplement. In Chinese history, the recommendation is the political needs, but also the task of senior officials, and the joint and several liability constraints. Recommenders should have the political vision and ability to distinguish, should be out of mind, recommended for the cause of talent. Researching on historical recommendations can provide reference for the present.
