目前以硅酸盐水泥为主要材料采用盒式工艺生产镶嵌地面板有许多缺点,如表面有气孔和缩孔、拆盒时有大量碎渣、边角脱落,耐磨性和装饰性差、以及水泥用量高和板在蒸养时能耗较高。采用低需水性胶结剂(简称 BHB),可以提高板的容重、强度、抗水性和耐磨性。以不同型号 BHB 为主要材料与大理石粉制成的地面板和传统的以水泥为主的地面板其性能比较见表。
