黄河下游两岸大堤上的防护林,对固堤起了极大的作用,同时也为社会生产了很多财富。解放以来,我们对堤柳保护方面虽作了不少工作,取得了不少成绩,但是在某些地方破坏的情况仍相当严重。尤其在灾区春荒时期,沿堤不少群众把柳絮作为代食品,因此就有意无意的攀断了很多树枝、树干,大大地影响了堤柳的发育和成材。可是我们又不能禁止。
The shelterbelts on both banks of the Yellow River in the lower reaches of the Yellow River played a significant role in the solid embankment and at the same time produced a great deal of wealth for the community. Since liberation, although we have done a great deal of work in the protection of the dike and achieved many successes, the situation of destruction in some places remains quite serious. Especially in the disaster-stricken area during the Spring Recession, many people along the embankment took catkins as a substitute for food, so they intentionally or unintentionally climbed many branches and tree trunks, greatly affecting the development and improvement of the dike. But we can not prohibit it.
