In recent years, forest pests and diseases in our country have become the biggest enemy of forestry development, causing far more losses than forest fires. In order to strengthen quarantine, forecast and prevention of forest pests and diseases, the State Forestry Administration decided to start six major projects and control the incidence of forest pests and diseases below 4% in the next five years, with the national pest and disease control rate reaching over 85%.
