随着社会主义市场经济的进一步发展和经济全球化进程的深化,社会对学生的英语水平提出了更高的要求。高校大学生不仅要具备良好的专业素质,更是要具备良好的综合能力,这就要求高校教师在英语教学过程中要革新教育理念,创新教学方法,培养学生对英语语言的综合运用能力。本文在分析当前高校英语教学现状及存在问题的基础上,探讨了高校英语教学应该如何进行教学方法创新,促进学生英语综合能力的提高。
With the further development of the socialist market economy and the deepening of the economic globalization, the society places higher demands on the students’ English proficiency. University students not only have to have good professional quality, but also have a good comprehensive ability, which requires college teachers in the process of English teaching to innovate the concept of education, innovative teaching methods, students’ ability to comprehensively use the English language. Based on the analysis of the current situation and existing problems of English teaching in colleges and universities, this paper explores how to innovate teaching methods in college English teaching so as to promote the improvement of students’ English comprehensive ability.
