西北地区盐碱土改良学术交流会于9月10日至19日在新疆乌鲁木齐举行。这次会议由中国土壤学会主持,委托新疆土壤学会召开的。自治区党政领导极为重视,自治区人民政府副主席司马益·牙生诺夫到会讲了话。参加会议代表92人,共收到论文190篇。 会议分两阶段进行,9月10日~13日为大会学术交流并参观了阜北农场竖井排灌试验,9月14~19日为野外参观,考察了焉耆盆地农垦22团场、库尔勒垦区29和33团场,并进行座谈讨论。 西北地区是我国内陆盐碱土集中分布区,面积大,含盐量重,类型多;但水、土、光、热资源最丰富,开发前景很大。会议通过参观、座谈、讨论,交流了新疆一些团场,河北、甘肃、陕西和宁夏等省一些地区的竖井排灌,暗排或明排(扬排和浅密通相结合),农牧、水旱结合,增施农肥和风化煤等综合治理,并取得粮棉丰收的典型经验。林业方面,新疆林科所介绍了沙枣抗盐性及改良盐碱土效果,还参观了
Northwest Saline-alkaline soil improvement academic exchange was held September 10 to 19 in Urumqi, Xinjiang. The meeting was presided over by the China Soil Society, entrusted Xinjiang Soil Society held.
