涉外合同的翻译在对外交流与经贸活动中的作用日益显著。本文从中英合同语言的不同点入手,就文化差异、语篇形式及模糊语言方面探讨了译者应如何在翻译过程中根据具体情况发挥主观能动性,采用灵活的翻译策略的问题。
The translation of foreign-related contracts plays an increasingly prominent role in foreign exchange and economic and trade activities. This paper starts with the differences between Chinese and English contract languages and discusses how translators should be able to use subjective initiative and flexible translation strategies in the process of translation based on cultural differences, discourse forms and vague language.
