“雅”与“俗”这对矛盾,一直是道难解的题。字典中对“雅”的解释为,“正规的,美好的,深奥的,商品味的”;对“俗”的解释是:“大众化的,最通行,趣味不高的,令人讨厌的。”社会生活的多姿多彩,从一定意义上说,也是由于人们的精神、物质生活等多方位的差异所造成的。特别在文艺作品方面,由于作者和读者的雅俗品位不同,更造成了一个百花争艳的局面。为广大读者所喜闻乐见的挂历,就其种类的属性,无疑是归入通俗一类的出版物。但是,因为它所面对的读者具有多层次、多方面的口味和要求,我们不能简单地把编辑思路、选题内容、设计风格等,只定位在“通俗”方面。只有充分认识雅与俗既对立又统一的辩证关系,才能使我们的挂历常编常新,多层次地满足读者的需要。而且我们还应该努力在通俗的题材和内容中灌注高雅的品位,使文化层次低的读者也能在潜移默化中逐渐得到美的高层次陶冶。因此挂历的特性必须是雅俗共赏,雅中藏俗。只有这样,才能被尽可能多的读者所欢迎,从而为我们的工作带来丰厚的回报。从理性上认识雅俗互补的重要性并不是最难的,真要把它落实到具体工作中,特别是在社会日新月异的今天,就要求我们不断地探索寻找雅与俗最佳的结合点。
The contradiction between “elegant” and “vulgar” has always been a problem that is hard to understand. The definition of “ya” in the dictionary is “formal, beautiful, esoteric, and tasteful.” The explanation of “vulgar” is: “Popular, unacceptable and unpleasant. ”The diversity of social life, in a certain sense, is also caused by many differences in people’s spiritual and material life. Especially in literary and artistic works, due to the different tastes and tastes of the author and the reader, it has even created a situation in which flowers bloom. For the majority of readers loved by the calendars, on the nature of their species, no doubt belong to a class of popular publications. However, because of the multi-level and multi-faceted tastes and requirements of the readers it faces, we can not simply focus on “popular” aspects such as editorial thoughts, topics, and design styles. Only by fully understanding the dialectical relationship between the elegance and the vulgarity that are both antagonistic and united can our calendars be edited often and often at multiple levels to meet the needs of the readers. Moreover, we should strive to infuse elegant taste into the popular subjects and contents so that readers of low cultural level will gradually get aesthetic high-level cultivation. Therefore, the characteristics of calendars must be refined tastes, Ya-Tibet. Only in this way can it be welcomed by as many readers as possible to bring a huge return on our work. It is not the hardest thing to know rationally the importance of complementarity between the two. We must really put it into concrete work. Especially in the ever-changing society today, we are required to constantly explore ways to find the best combination of elegance and custom.
