由中国译协、云南省译协主办的第四次全国科技翻译学术研讨会,于1989年8月15日至19日在昆明举行。来自21个省、市、自治区译协和部委以及大企业的75位代表出席了会议。云南省译协从事科技翻译的部分会员也到会旁听。会议由中国译协常务副秘书长林煌天、云南省译协副会长刘增羽主持。中国译协副会长叶笃庄在开幕词中指出,中国译协多次召开科技翻译研讨会,目的在于进一步组织、调动全国科技翻译人员,通过学术讨论、交流翻译经验,提高翻译水平,以便更好地为改革、开放服务。他说,最近举行的党的十三届四中全会明确指出,四项基本原则是立国之本;改革开放是强国之路。我们广大科技翻译人员必须在今后工作中始终一贯地坚持党的这个基本原则和方针,用我们的聪明才智,为国家的现代化建设多做贡献。中国科学院学部委员、云南省译协顾问、中科院科技译协
The 4th National Science and Technology Translation Symposium sponsored by China Association for the Translation of Translators and Translators Association of Yunnan Province was held in Kunming from August 15 to August 19 1989. In his opening remarks, Ye Duzhuang, vice president of the Chinese Association of Translators, pointed out that the China Translation Association held many seminars on science and technology translation with the aim of further organizing and mobilizing national science and technology translators to exchange translating experience and improve translation skills through academic discussions so as to be better For the reform, open service. He said that the Fourth Plenary Session of the 13th Central Party Committee recently held clearly pointed out that the four basic principles are the foundation for establishing a state; reform and opening up is the road to strengthening the country.
