Jameson’s theory of cultural staging of capitalism is a reflection of the current Western Marxist intellectuals’ thinking on postmodern cultural thinking as well as an exploration of the future of human culture and ideology. This time-oriented topic is full of a lingering pessimistic atmosphere where the future of human culture and ideology is, and this is a topic for all humanity. The profound Western humanist traditions and respect for humanity contained in these theories can be used as a way of thinking to enable us to gain inspiration from increasingly alienated social life.
