采用田间调查及小区试验的研究方法,研究水稻生育期与稻瘿蚊发生为害的关系,探讨药剂防治的最佳时机。结果表明,在重发生区,该虫在田间世代重叠、虫源不断的主要原因,在于上一代虫源群体复杂性和取食主苗与分蘖苗的发育速度不一致。该虫在水稻整个营养生长期都能入侵为害,但在不同生育期入侵对生产造成的损失有很大差异,消灭虫源主要抓秧苗3叶期以后或移植前药剂浸秧,保产主要抓回青后到幼穗分化前期施药。
