随着中国—东盟博览会落户南宁,湄公河次区域经济合作开发区以及泛北部湾经济合作区的开发开放程度的提高,目前,中国与东盟,特别是广西与东盟,广西与缅甸之间的交流合作日益加强,缅甸语的地位日益突显其重要性,如何培养出区域领先、特色鲜明的应用型缅甸语高等人才是关键,缅甸语教学应随着地区局势发展进行相应的改革也势在必行。
