In recent years, Kuwait has averaged more than 11,000 U.S. dollars gross national product per capita and has been among the best in the world. However, it also has its distress. First, the dependence on a single economy is getting worse. Since its nationalization in 1973, Kuwait announced that it would vigorously develop its own industrial and agricultural production and gradually change the single economic status dependent on oil and diversify sources of national income. However, the situation has not changed much so far: on the import of agricultural products, grain and vegetables, the development of the national industry is very slow, with the exception of oil, which accounts for only about 3% of the national income. The second is for foreign investment concerns. In recent years, huge oil wealth has made Kuwait the owner of a large stock of international investments. At present, Kuwait has invested in many countries, especially in the United States, Britain and Japan. It is said that Kuwait has invested 64 billion U.S. dollars in all countries, most notably in the United States and about 20 billion U.S. dollars in the United Kingdom. Due to the rapidly changing international situation, especially after the crisis in the Iraq-U.S. Relations, the United States announced the freezing of Iranian assets in the United States and Kuwait’s concern over its investment in the United States
